Welcome to Dragon Tiger iiChi TM – intelligent intervention energy – Self Protection Training.

Do you want to learn effective and practical coping strategies and techniques to avoid potential personal harm from violence?

It is an unfortunate fact that violence and crime statistics are increasing daily - according to the British Crime Survey particularly for young men under 25 years old. However for many of those outside this grouping the feeling is that beyond a few basic precautions, there is not much that can be done to be able to cope. Though the perception of danger is very real for women and older men too. However Dragon Tiger structured training enables appropriate intervention to be learned and applied intelligently as needed. www.dragontiger.co.uk

Experience of training in tactical communication, assertiveness, psychology and an understanding of physiology are used to help to build increased self esteem and preparation for any scenarios whether sudden or constant, that may arise. Our experience include instructors that have training and achievement in full contact martial arts (WKKC Freestyle World Heavyweight Championship 1999) and in the Israeli and Russian military self defence systems of Krav Maga and Systema allow practical and effective unarmed defence skill acquisition training against edged and blunt weapon attack.
Previously lightweight category world champions Leigh Remedios and Mark Chen in no-holds-barred fighters were coached prior to their world title-holder status

The principal aim of self defence is to reduce the risk of individuals becoming victims of violence.

It is a fundamental principle of Dragon Tiger that the term 'self defence' is given its widest possible meaning whereby priority is given to those non-physical elements which are designed to ensure the personal safety of the individual. It follows, therefore, that physical intervention always remains a last resort.

There may, of course, be situations where individuals will be left with no option other than to defend themselves by physical means. Dragon Tiger therefore includes within its training, a range of self defence techniques which are easy to learn, easy to apply, effective and of course, lawful.

iiChi TM training is delivered throughout the London area as required for women, men or youths as necessary by Dragon Tiger and associate trainers.

Dragon Tiger offer iiChi TM (intelligent intervention energy) training that enable for men and women the skill acquisition to cope effectively against situations of bullying, aggression and potential hazard:

  • on the street (day or night)
  • returning to car parks at night
  • at work or returning home from work
  • at home
  • or at institutions of learning: school, college etc

• Dragon Tiger deliver training in self protection using the iiYoga technology of Tibetan Kriya   Yoga to mentally and physically prepare those in need of iiChiTM (intelligent intervention   energy) training .

• Training is is also delivered in health and fitness with workshops, seminars and training for   groups or the individual as necessary.

• The use of force is necessary in situations of imminent danger and effective practical coping   strategies are taught for the use of those in need of physical intervention to keep   themselves safe from harm.

• The use of force to defend oneself is dictated by law to be commensurate to the attacking   force experienced.

• There may be legal consequences and these aspects are covered in the training.

• Crime statistics report increasing figures for violence against the individual. Preparation for   the unlikely but possible hazard is a wise choice to take.
